Leafeon's Cherry Blossom Viewing

Pokemon and Leafeon belong to Nintendo.

I'm really happy with how the blending for this came out. I colored the brown parts in using two different browns. and then the yellow using it to add a yellowish tint to the lightest green I have to match with Leafeon's coloring. for example the green used for the grass? Same marker I used for the green gradient by coloring over the yellow. New trick I can use for future drawings!

I also used my lightest gray copic to add shadow since I remember reading that using the gray markers over colors makes for good shadows.

I really like how the ears came out using three different color greens. The smooth surface really helped the blending. Crazy the difference the kind of paper you use can make.

Also same trick of coloring a colored in area of the drawing blue for the background instead of using a copic to cut down ink use.
