Phantoon of the Wrecked Ship

For those of you who aren't Metroid fans this creature is called Phantoon. He appeared in Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo Entertainemnt System (SNES). Super Metroid was the third game of the Metroid series.

He was the boss of the Wrecked Ship on Planet Zebes and caused the ship to crash on Zebes and Phantoon took up residenst in the ship...until Samus (you) enter the ship and kick its phantom butt.

According to the games manual it uses plasma to attack and taps into the Mother Brains brainwaves.

He is one of my favorite bosses in the game...mostly because he's a phantom and I like paranormal stuff.
